Dear reader, this apartment has been one of the best I've lived in,

The location of this apartment makes it easy to go around by the transport system, take bus 37 towards Noord metro and you can be in Vijzelgracht at the Holtkamp enjoying the lovely cake within 30-40 minutes. Take bus 37 towards Amstel station and you can hop off at Flevopark or Oosterpark and sit in a cozy cafe for coffee in 15-20 minutes.

In the front you see the skyline of Amsterdam city and on the window on the left you see the vast green fields
all the way to Volendam and Marken. When I was tired of being in the city, I would explore the green fields by bike and the canals by kayak, if you are adventurous, I would urge you to give it a try. From the window on the left, you will see the Schellingwouderbreekpark, its a lovely walk around and if we're lucky that year, it freezes over in the winter so you can find the Amsterdammers skating over it.

I enjoyed cooking in this kitchen because all the ingredients for any meal I intended to cook - Asian, Middle eastern, Caribbean were less than 5 minutes away. My meals were graced by beautiful sunshine, especially the dinners where I could watch the sun set over Amsterdam and it was a quite a feast for my eyes and belly!

The apartment is cozy and stays warm with not too much heating required, I hope you will enjoy it as much as I did.
