“ It is a beautiful morning and the sun flows into the bedroom when I open the curtains. The smell of coffee fills slowly the whole apartment. First thing first: we need to get fresh bread from Hartog’s, the best bakery of Amsterdam, around the corner.
After breakfast, the plan is to go grocery shopping on the Dapper Markt. The market is only 5 min bike from the apartment and it is always so pleasant to go through the Oosterpark in the morning.
For lunch, we have an appointment on the terrace of the Ysbreeker on the banks of the Amstel river, close to the Amstel Hotel. It is such a joy to sit in the shade of the trees on the Weesperzijde and the view on the water is refreshing.
Later in the day, we can just stroll in the Artis zoo, the botanical garden or even at the flea market on Waterlooplein. All this is 10 min bike or less from the apartment and Central Station is only 10 min away with the metro!
Later in the afternoon, we will need to go home to prepare for the visit of our guests. We have invited our friends again for drinks and snacks on the balcony. We have the sun until late in the evening since the 10m2 terrace is facing west. It is very quiet in the inner garden and we have an open view. It is the perfect spot to entertain or simply read a book or the newspaper.
Cosy, full of light and modern, this apartment is a great place to live in. Its location in the East part of Amsterdam is ideal. A truly unique opportunity.
